Caroline Salzedo
Postgraduate Course Tutor

Caroline first studied Shiatsu in 1978-80 at the East West Centre, returning to it in 1994 to study with the BSS-Do, graduating as a Practitioner in 1998 and as a teacher in 2002. She came to Shiatsu through community activism and a commitment to empowering people to take their health and wellbeing into their own hands, attracted by the holistic approach of oriental therapies.

She has attended Workshops with leading Shiatsu teachers, including Wataru Ohashi, Bill Palmer, Michael Rose and Sonia Moriceau, and, in 2005, undertook a course at the Hangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China to studying Tuina, Chinese Medical Massage, which she now incorporates into her Shiatsu. She practises Tai Chi and Qi-Gong, and runs Shiatsu clinics in Nottingham. I aspire in both my Shiatsu practice and teaching to convey the enthusiasm and excitement that Shiatsu gives me about life.
